Well, the surgery went well and I'm on the road to recovery. It's a longer journey back to health than I anticipated but so far I'm happy with the results of not having a gall bladder! I ate a hamburger without getting sick, I had a cup of coffee without feeling nauseous, AND I have been a passenger in the vehicle without feeling carsick. Who knew?!
I went to church yesterday, cleaned the kitchen, drove to the library, shopped at Superstore, and took the suture tape off. I was in quite a bit of pain by the time I went to bed so I took pain meds and gravol and slept like a baby! Unfortunately, I'm not feeling like super-woman today... quite tired and groggy. Taking lots of naps and not doing a whole lot. I guess that's what recovery is like... two steps forward and one step back.
The other night Anna helped me organize my wall unit. We had received a bunch of old heritage-type stuff from Auntie Terri and I wanted to have it displayed. Here are a few photos of the wall unit. I'm always amazed at how much stuff that thing holds... it's probably why I can never really bear to part with it! LOL

It looks marvelous, just like an antique store display cabinet! The three ladies do not look like antique store displays but very lovely just the same!
Looks beautiful! Glad you are on the mend. My sister had her gall bladder out this year..the recovery was slower than she thought as well..with many two steps forward one step back dances ! Hugging you! Praying too!
