Today I was able to realize one of my dreams... Kent & I both got massages right on the beach. Our masseurs were so professional and it was so relaxing to listen to the waves and tropical birds singin' away while all our stress (ha-ha!) and worries melted away. LOVELY!!!
Emily & Kent hung out at the pool while Laura, Anna & I did some more shopping at the hacienda about 1 km away from the main resort. Anna bought a couple dresses while Laura and I commented that it's really nice for us to have a real live barbie doll to dress up because none of the dresses looked good on us! Anna takes it all in stride and gracefulness!
Tonight's dinner was at the Mikado restaurant. We were able to sit at a "show" table and boy, did we get a show! Kent video taped most of it so I'll try and post it here later. Our chef was amazing as she flung her knives around and cooked all our food right in front of us and made-to-order. It tasted so delicious!
We just finished our evening coffee and dancing so now I'm off to the girl's room for a PJ party while Kent enjoys some alone-time (he can watch a sci-fi movie all by himself!).
Tomorrow morning we're up early and off to Xel-Ha. This'll be a first for all of us and we're really excited to snorkel in the large lagoon and ride tubes down the lazy river through the Mayan jungle! Can't wait!
