Sunday and Monday

This is just a quick update as we're on our way to the pool for an evening swim before crashing into bed... exhausted from all the fun of the last two days.

The trip down was fairly uneventful but long (11 hours from door to door). We saw some neat things on the drive from the airport to the resort which I will expand upon at a later date.

We went snorkelling in the Caribbean which was a first for the girls. They took to it like fish in water (pun intended!). Saw cool fish but are looking forward to Xel-Ha where we expect to see other creatures, too.

Had a gourmet dinner tonight with such items as sea bass, salmon, duck l'orange, and grilled shrimp. YUMMY!! Emily's biggest complaint yesterday was that the shrimp had eyes but, thankfully, they were regular-looking shrimp tonight! LOL

Underwater Tea Party

Kent & I were able to put all those dance lessons to good use tonight and it was so much fun to jive, rhumba and cha-cha over the dance floor.

Well, gotta meet the girls in the pool. Stay tuned for more updates later.
