Mach 10

That's how fast life is flying by these days. It's true that the older you get the faster time flies... if it's going this fast now I better not even blink when I'm a senior citizen!!

Calgary Skyline on a stormy afternoon
Between working two days a week, homeschooling, bible study, church, bill-paying, doctor appointments, walking dogs, touching base with friends, cleaning the house, laundry, meals, driving kids, and my recent renewed addiction to Sims there just aren't enough hours in the day.  Autumn has definitely hit full force. Oh, and to top it all off, it's raining and NOW is the time when my clematis plant decides to open in full bloom!! It's too cold and miserable to even go outside and enjoy them. Ah well... at least it's still alive! LOL

Sorry about the bug splat - it's Alberta!

My sister just posted some fabulous pics of my parents with all 11 of their grandchildren. You can see them here. My family rocks!! Yes, we have some issues but for the most part, we love each other for who we are and just want what's best for each member of the clan.

Our loveable 9 year old Golden Boy

On a sadder note, we are taking our dog Maxx to the vet on Friday night. He is definitely sick but we're not sure what he has. Of course, we hope the Doc can give him some antibiotics and he'll recover but realistically I think he's just ready for that one-way ticket to doggy-heaven. We're hoping for the best, anyway.

Well, Maxx and I hung out together this weekend and Maxx even had a good ride in the back of a pick-up truck. (sort of a dog version of make-a-wish)
He is really slowing down these past few days,so it is with a very sad and heavy heart that I will say goodbye to such a good friend. I will really miss him and the saying goodbye will be rough.

We are all confident that this is the best for him so we will have to move on.

Kent, you make me cry. Its amazing how these good buddy's can get into our hearts without being able to say a word. Thanks for being vulnerable with your feelings. We will miss that fellow too!
Love, Mom
