The collie x puppy, Emma, found herself a good home. A nice man with his two children (it was the little girl's birthday!) came over and decided that Emma would be a good match for them. He's going to take her to his vet and hopefully they'll decide to keep her permanently otherwise I'll have to take her to the SPCA. She truly is a sweet dog as long as she doesn't have to share her food with anyone.
Then, Anna, Emily & I hopped into the van and drove to the SW to pick up "fluffy puppy"! She is SO cute... even cuter than we remembered her! We are all smitten and look forward to watching her grow up. Since she's a "mutt" (Golden Retriever crossed with Alaskan Malamute) she's a bit of a surprise package but right now she's so much fun to watch. She even likes Toby - but we're not sure how Toby feels about her. I think they'll be buddies but they might need a few days to figure things out. The cat is less than impressed but seems to be more accepting of this puppy than the "weekend" puppy we had.
Tomorrow will be another busy day as Anna has a 3 hour art class so "fluffy puppy" will be coming with us in the car all afternoon. It will be fun to show her off at work and art class!
As you can tell, we need a name so feel free to offer suggestions!

How cute, I see what you mean, by 'surprise package'. No brilliant names came to mind. Congrats Anna and Pederson family.
What a sweet looking dog! Looks like a very even tempered one. I love floppy eared mutts! Some thoughts on names: Skylar, Vienna, Jocie, Papa suggests Malla. Will keep thinking.
