"the girls"
Well, this is it. My annual mammogram and ultrasound tomorrow. Ugh. Definitely NOT my favourite thing to have done but I always feel good about myself when the results all come back as normal. My doctor is paranoid about "the girls" - she says I have "very dense breasts".
I wonder if I'll get that ultrasound technician with the Russian accent.....

It was no big deal at all!!! Didn't even hurt! YAY!!! I've been praying that God would help it to be less painful than last time and He did :-)
Here are my tips for pain-free mammograms:
- no caffeine for two days before
- ask God to help you
- don't schedule the exam during PMS time... wait 'till just after your period
- take 600 mg of Ibuprofen before you go!!
- go to a reputable radiology clinic
And the technician told me that from what she could tell everything was "hunky dunky" (okay, she didn't exactly use that phrase").
Glad that's over for another year or two :-)
I'm glad that they think that just your breasts are dense....
...and the kids NOW want to know why I'm laughing out loud!!
