My Dad

My Dad ROCKS!!! I just got an awesome letter from him. I haven't received many letters from my Dad, mostly phone calls, emails, visits (and I LOVE all these) but getting a letter in the mail, the old fashioned way, from my Dad was REALLY special for me. I just wrote him a short novel back to thank him for the letter. I hope he writes me again soon :-) Hmmmm, maybe it would be a good thing for me to write letters to people in my life, too. I'll bet my Dad, Mom, Husbands, Sisters, Brother, etc. would like to get a letter from me. What is it about an old-fashioned letter that touches us a little differently than an email? Maybe 'cause it takes just that little bit of extra effort to put the letter in an envelope, address it, stamp it and put it in the mail? Maybe it's a gift of time that we appreciate. Okay, I'm convinced. I will write more letters this year!!
