I really do love winter and here are a few reasons why:
The sky and sunshine are magnificent in their splendor and brilliance! And when it's cold the snow sparkles like fairy dust, everything looks clean with no blemishes, and life can feel pretty much perfect. I know I'm in the minority with this way of thinking but my Dad shares my chionophile tendencies so I'm not totally alone. In fact, he loves to come visit in the coldest part of winter so we can walk in the field with the dogs, walk to Starbucks, he can shovel the sidewalk, and brush snow off my car. I LOVE it when he and Mom come to visit :-)
It's also a time to plan and boy, do I LOVE to plan!!! This week I planned a trip for my friend and his family, a trip to Edmonton to visit Laura, whether to buy a new motorcycle, whether to get my motorcycle license this year, a trip with Kent this summer, AND I worked on my photo album from our Orlando trip.
