I wanted to do something special for myself and my girls for Mother's Day so I booked a condo up in Panorama for the weekend. In order to get the special deal, though, I had to book for the whole week so Kent and I came up on Sunday and we'll head back to Calgary on Wednesday...then the girls and I will come out for some more R&R for the weekend.
On the way up here we saw about a hundred deer and three beautiful black bears.... God sure makes some amazing creatures on this planet. We didn't get a pic of the bears so here is one from the revelstokebearaware.org website.
We've enjoyed some hot and sunny weather, an afternoon at the pool, hiking on the mountain, watching mind-numbing TV, soaking our cares away in the hot tubs, and sleeping in.
