We have officially begun the big renovations for the summer. Here's the list:
Floors on main level
Floor in downstairs bedroom
Kitchen counter - STARTED
Backsplash
New hardware in kitchen - DONE
Lighting in kitchen - DONE
Lighting in entry - DONE
Build downstairs bathroom from scratch
Paint downstairs bedroom
Build pathway in back yard - DONE
Strip & stain deck
Stain deck chairs
And in order to get ready for Seth arriving in August we have to do some shuffling around:
Move Emily to family room - DONE
Move office upstairs - DONE
Paint downstairs bedroom (Laura & Anna will be sharing the basement room that WAS the school)
Move Laura to new basement bedroom
Re-floor downstairs bedroom (which will now be Emily's room)
Move Emily to Laura's old room
Move Anna to basement bedroom
Buy a bed and set up Seth's room (which was Anna's room)
We have 6 weeks to finish! On your mark, get set, go!!
So far we have moved Emily to the family room, temporarily, and moved the "school" upstairs into the newly dubbed, "STUDY". Doesn't that sound so formal? "Meet me in the Study". LOL - anyway, it IS where Emily will be homeschooling in the fall and where my computer is set up. Here are a few pics.

It may have been easier to sell and buy a different house :)
Wow! You guys are crazy. Since you will be done in 6 short weeks and looking for stuff to do you should just come to our place next, we can add to your list :)
