New Things!

Well , I just arrived home from Abbotsford last night after spending a few days helping my sister as she recovers from viral meningitis. She is doing much better but still tires easily... hope she takes it easy for the next couple weeks! After a joyful reunion with my family in the Calgary airport we drove home and as I came up the walk toward the house my breath was taken away by the wonderful surprise in front of me... my dear husband painted the trim on the house while I was away!! It looks delightful... nice fresh black to cover the ugly faded teal trim :-) If I hadn't left my camera in Abbotsford I would take a photo and share it with you but, alas, I must wait for my sister to mail it to me before I can do that. I may ask Laura to take a photo and share it. Anyway, the house looks like it's had a face-lift and it makes me happy every time I come home now. The other really happy thing is that I FINALLY received my Well Planned Day planner in the mail about half an hour ago and I haven't even opened it yet!!! As soon as I post this blog I will be "playing" with my brand new planner.... ah... feels like fall already :-) They also included a sample of their magazine and it looks really well done at first glance so I'm looking forward to perusing through it during my lunch breaks at work this week. Speaking of work, today was my first day working with Laura at CHER. She was in shipping so I didn't see much of her but it was great to just know she was there. We get to work together in the front on Thursday so if you're in the Calgary area, come on in on Thursdays and say Hi to us :-) I've also decided that I'm sick and tired of being "chubby" so I'm back on my weight-loss band wagon... let's hope I don't fall off until I've reach my goal weight LOL. UPDATE: Here's a pic of the house!

Thanks for reminding me to check the blog! The house looks awesome. Way to go Kent. I"m glad that you go home safe and sound and that routine has quickly set in. I left Heather alone today, she didn't call, so I am asuming all is o.k. I'll give her a call in a minute or two. I spent today doing some Alliance Women stuff, feels good to get at it again. Tomorrow I'm back to my job and then out to Renee to help with some packing. Sure was great to see you so much this summer. Loved our time in Yellowstone and in the Tam pool!

It looks great! I've only seen pictures of the inside of your home and it looks beautiful on the outside.

Glad you could make it out to help Heather as she recovers. I'm sure she appreciated it.
