Well, we're here!!! The flight last night was good and the guy sitting beside Kent had been here 20 times so he was more than willing to give us all the insider tips... unfortunately, most of what he had to tell us was related to gambling and that's just not our "thing"! LOL
Our suite is absolutely beautiful and feels brand new. After taking a cab to the Albertsons for groceries and a nice relaxing bath in the GIGANTIC tub, I had a wonderful sleep. I sure needed it after feeling a bit woozy from all the travelling... I'm going to have to figure out a better way to travel and not feel sick.
This morning Kent took the hotel shuttle back to the grocery store to pick up all the things we forgot or couldn't get last night while I slept in. We then walked through some of the big impressive hotels. The Flamingo, Harrah's, and the Venetian are close to our hotel but close is definitely relative in Vegas!! Saw some really neat architecture, artwork, flora & fauna, and interesting people.
We're now back at the hotel to escape the heat and getting ready for a dip in the pool. Will post more again later. We'll be heading downtown tonight to check out the Fremont Street Experience... looking forward to it!!

Sweet! How long are you there for lady. James keeps telling me he wants to take me and I just haven't really felt an urge to go so keep us posted on how it goes and maybe I'll cave.
So glad that you are blogging so that we can see what you are up to. Looks like a fabulous room!! Things here are definately "out of the ordinary" to say the least!! Dad's concert last night was very good!!!Lots of good responses. Saw Oliver and Verna, Myrna, Bev,a cousin and an elderly aunt that I had not seen for about 8 years.
Thanks for keeping us up to date! As far as travel sickness, I intend to do a little research this June. Since we are flying on 4 different occasions, and ALL of the flights are connecting. I'll let you know what works.
