Vegas - Saturday night

We had a relaxing swim in the pool and got started on our suntans this afternoon. Glad I put spf 30 on as I still got a bit burnt after only about 1/2 hour in the sun!! I'm such a "whitey" LOL Took the shuttle to Main St Station and so far, it's my favourite hotel. It's in the "old Vegas" part of town and the building is just gorgeous with really old architecture and artwork. Took lots of pics here. Kent said there's an original piece of the Berlin wall in the men's bathroom (I took his word for it!). We enjoyed a yummy roast beef dinner (plus a whole bunch more) at the Garden Court Buffet then wandered over to Fremont St. mall which is part of "Glitter Gulch". It's a really trendy area with an AMAZING overhead screen about 2 city blocks long. Every hour they play a 10 minute music video so we watched "Queen" and "Kiss" -the Queen video was much better - "We Will, We Will ROCK YOU!!" Kent video taped most of it so I hope it turned out well... so hard to capture some things on video, though. Mom, you were right about the "immoral" side of Vegas, too... it's here but it's actually not quite as prominent as I was worried it might be. Still, we're certainly "no longer in Kansas" LOL I think Las Vegas is just living publicly what most of the world lives privately. This place does live up to the name "sin city" but we're choosing to focus on the things we want to see and enjoy our time here together. Well, we're exhausted from being on our feet most of the day so it's off to bed and then up and at 'em again tomorrow. Oh, and we're trying to decide whether or not to take the "90 minute time share tour". They're offering 100.00 Visa card as well as a bunch of coupons for Vegas and discounts on shows just to sit through the presentation. Do you think we should go or just skip it? Hope everyone it doing well and that Ju Ju Bean is feeling better. Laura, Anna & Emily, hope you guys are having fun, too.

Glad you are having fun. And you're right about having the right focus. Something about 'setting your thoughts on things above."
Dad and I did a time share presentation many years ago, it was so high pressure that we have decided we will never put ourselves in that position again! But maybe they have changed their approach since then.
Ju Ju is still in hospital. Will probably be there for another night. Needs to start peeing!!! Heather and she are very BORED!

I probably wouldn't go for it as they do seem to be super high pressure from other people I've talked to as well! But have fun regardless.
