The Oprah FREAK OUT!!!

Yeah, whatever. Why is everyone so surprised? Oprah, in my opinion, is (and has always been) a friend of the world and the ruler of this world (Satan) and not a Christ-follower. Unfortunately, so many Christians have put her in a position of leadership and authority in their lives and are now "blown away" and surprised by her blatant anti-christ(ian) statements. I certainly hope that if this massive "shock" to the Christian community does ANYTHING that it turns people to their BIBLE so they will have the tools in their life to discern truth from a lie every single time!!! In general, I think mainstream churches today are NOT following the instruction from II Tim. 3:16 & 17....

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man
of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Isn't it time we stop the Oprah obsession, stop listening to sermons that are preached mostly from another man's book or perspective, and start reading, studying, and preaching the Word of God? PERIOD?!!

People, this is NOT going to go away. As we get nearer to the end of the age, there will be an increase in false teachers.... wolves in sheep's clothing. How will YOU keep from being deceived? What's your plan? What are you teaching your children and grandchildren?

Think about it and pray about what YOU are doing to put on the full armour of God so you can go to battle against the spiritual forces at work in our lives today.

Ephesians 6:10-20
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the
power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to
stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this age,[c]
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take
up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with
truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your
feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the
shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in
the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication
for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may
open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am
an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
