Bummed out
I'm bummed out that my Dr. didn't sign the medical forms for me to renew my Class 2 driver's license. Because of that vision episode yesterday (and the moderate concussion issue in the fall) she wants me to get a CT scan first. IF that comes back clear THEN she'll sign the release forms for my Class 2. This is all fine and dandy, except.....
My license expires on my birthday, March 14th. So, unless I can get the CT scan done, the results to the Dr., and the letter to the Licensing Office BEFORE the 14th I either have to:
A) have no driver's license until this all happens or
B) get a renewed license WITHOUT my class 2
This makes me very sad. I don't know if I'll ever go back to get my Class 2 certification again and start all over. Maybe this is meant to be the end of my bus-driving fun... er... I mean.... career!!

You have a year to renew your class 2. You can just get your class 5 and then once your med forms are signed go "upgrade" your license back to class 2. it costs an extra $25 or something like that. you won't lose your class 2 right away.
